Lemon Basil Cupcakes!

Spring is in the air, and around my house that means an abundance of fresh basil! I can’t help putting it in everything, including my dessert. That’s how I created this delicious, aromatic lemon basil cake. Topped with cream cheese icing, it has an almost savory flavor. Have I eaten it for breakfast with my coffee? Yes. Have I enjoyed it with a glass of chilled white wine? Yep. Is it my favorite cake ever? Yes! You have to try it!

Fresh and tangy! Lemon cream pie is an old favorite that will have the family walking down memory lane together this Easter. My flakey, buttery crust is first filled with smooth lemon custard, then it’s topped with fresh, lightly sweetened whipped cream. Mmm-mmm!
